Katanagatari Anime Announced

Japanese retail solicitations for author NisiOisin’s upcoming light novel Maniwagatari apparently include an announcement that the author’s 12 volume Katanagatari light novel series from 2007 will be adapted into anime. Katanagatari is a historical drama about a young swordsman in medieval Japan tasked with locating 12 swords forged by a legendary swordsmith.

An anime adaptation of NisiOisin’s “Bakemonogatari” novel series was announced last April.
