Kinema Citrus Seeking Crowd Funding for New Anime
|Japanese video game & anime music production studio Creative Intelligence Arts and anime studio Kinema Citrus have launched a Kickstarter campaign to crowd fund the production of a 24-minute “Under the Dog” sci-fi action OVA based on a story concept that video game writer Jiro Ishii penned in 1997. The pilot production is seeking $580,000 by September 7 and presently has $113,405 from 1,702 backers.
I think this looks promising, so in order to support the production and get the BD/DVD combo with backer-exclusive cover, soundtrack CD, challenge coin, hardcover booklet, t-shirt, and autographed poster, I committed to donating $200.

I jumped in for $100, but could bump that up depending on what the Good Smile figure looks like.
It does seem interesting and my cup of tea. But with my expenditures for BGC, Nina, and Aniplex sucking my soul for Kill la Kill, will have to give it more thought.
