Kodansha Sponsors International Manga Competition

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of its Weekly Morning Magazine, Kodansha has launched an international manga talent competition. A single grand prize winning original short manga story will be awarded with $5,000 and will be published in Weekly Morning Magazine and may be optioned for further professional development. Two runner-up prize winners will receive $2,000 each and may be professionally published. Submissions must be previously unpublished and must be postmarked by May 31.
