Kodansha to Launch English Website

Japanese publisher Kodansha is planning to launch an English language website in order to provide easier access to information about the company and their products to foreign publishers and fans.

Fanboy Entertainment’s C.B. Cebulski has said of a prototype version of the site, “It is clear, easy to navigate, packed with information about the company and their products, and has beautiful images provided by many of the artists that publish with Kodansha. Their foreign manga publishing endeavors are also spotlighted. It also gives fans a look onto some of the manga that are currently being published in Japan that they can hope to see in the future in English and other foreign languages. Keep an eye out for it.”

The site currently is not open to the public but will soon be on-line at www.kodanclub.com.
