Koji Yamamura DVD Coming to America
Zeitgeist Films has scheduled a December 7 release for its Franz Kafka’s A Country Doctor & Other Fantastic Films DVD featuring 13 short independent anime from acclaimed animator/director Koji Yamamura. The DVD will include Yamamura’s Oscar nominated 2002 short Mt. Head (Atama-yama).
This should be a “must own” DVD for any animation fan that respects anime as something more than toy commercials and fan service.

Interesting find. Zeitgeist has a few interesting titles in their catalogue, so this definitely fits in. I’m looking forward to it.
