Last Weekend to See Spirited Away Theatrically

According to Indiewire, Disney is officially pulling Spirited Away out of American theatrical release on April 15th to make way for the official American DVD release. Since the film’s theatrical “wide release,” Spirited Away has earned nearly $1.8 million, a 35,132 percent increase in box office revenue from before its theatrical re-release, but still far, far from blockbuster status.
