Live Action Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro Movie Announced

Yahoo Japan has reported on development of a live action Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro movie, based on the classic manga by Shigeru Mizuki. The film will star pop-star Eiji Wentz as Kitaro and Yoh Ooizumi as the conniving Nezumi-Otoko (“Rat Man”). The film is tentatively scheduled for Japanese release in early May 2007 (during “Golden Week”).
