Live Action Kite Movie Director Selected

According to Dark Horizons, producers Rob Cohen and Anant Singh have selected Mexican directors Jorge and Javier Aguilera to helm the American live action adaptation of Yasuomi Umetsu’s anime OVA A Kite. Dark Horizons also states that the American version of the film, unlike the original anime, will be set in a future police state. None of Jorge and Javier Aguilera’s few movies seem to have significant American distribution.
