Locodol Anime Announced

The TBS network has launched a website to reveal the development of an anime TV series based on Kotaro Kosugi’s 4-panel comedy manga Futsu no Joshikousei ga Locodol Yattemita (Normal High School Girls Tried Being Local Idols). The manga that premiered in 2011 stars two high school girls who accept jobs as idol singers employed by their city. Kiss×Sis franchise & NakaImo director Munenori Nawa will helm the TV series production at studio Feel (Kiss×Sis, PapaKiki).
