Manga-ka Jun Sadogawa Dead at 34

On August 13 manga creator Jun Sadogawa (real name: Mutsumi Kawato) was discovered hanged to death in Tone City, Ibaraki prefecture’s Shinsui Park. Local police have announced that the death is believed to be a suicide. The 34-year-old manga artist was serializing his Amane Atatameru bishoujo manga at the time of his death. He may be best known to English speaking fans as the creator of Muteki Kanban Musume, known in America as “Ramen Fighter Miki” and “Noodle Fighter Miki.”
