Maria Holic TV Anime Announced

Reportedly the upcoming issue of Newtype Magazine will include a confirmation that director Akiyuki Shinbo (Sayonara Zetsubo-sensei) and animation studio Shaft (Sayonara Zetsubo-sensei) will produce an anime television series adaptation of Minari Endo’s romantic comedy manga series Maria Holic. The 2006 manga is the story of a high school girl with a phobia of males who enrolls in an all girls school, hoping to find a female romantic partner. Her ideal candidate turns out to be a cross-dressing boy.
