Media Blasters Announcements from Anime Expo

At this past weekend’s Anime Expo, Media Blasters reportedly announced its acquisition of distribution rights to:

Strawberry Panic anime TV series
The Genshiken OVA series and Kujibiki Unbalance television series
Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny anime TV series
Otome wa Boku ni Koshiteru anime TV series
Angel’s Feather OVA series
Futari Ecchi anime
Golden Boy OVA series (formerly distributed in America by AD Vision)
Gakuen Nanafushigi (hentai OVA series)
Haru wo Daiteita (yaoi OVA series)
Fuyu no Seme (yaoi OVA series)
“Flower and Stick”

Media Blasters confirmed that it is co-producing Kite Liberator and expects to distribute the anime in America.

Media Blasters revealed its acquisition of distribution rights to several live action Asian films including Exte – Hair Extensions, Scrap Heaven, Crow Zero, “several Shaw Bros. films,” and Red Eye (possibly the 2005 Korean horror film)
