Media Blasters License Rescues Jubei-chan
Media Blasters has vaguely announced announced its license rescue of the Jubei-chan: Secret of Lovely Eyepatch anime franchise. Media Blasters announced a forthcoming release of a “full boxset of Jubei Chan.” The announcement does not specify if Media Blasters’ license is the 1999 first TV series, the 2004 sequel, or both seasons. Bandai Entertainment released the first series domestically in 2000. Geneon released the second series domestically in 2005.
