Media Blasters News from AnimeNEXT

At last weekend’s AnimeNEXT convention, Media Blasters announced the acquisition of the 12 episode anime TV series Mouse.

Media Blasters revealed plans for the three Rurouni Kenshin DVD boxed sets to be designed like stackable Japanese “bento” (lunch) boxes. Anime on DVD has photos. The boxes will be made available to consumers that have already purchased the individual discs.

12 Kingdoms will eventually be released in a 15 disc boxed set shaped like a Chinese chest. The box will be made available to consumers that have already purchased the individual discs.

Iria: Zeiram the Animation will be released as a 3 disc in a tin case. The 6 episode OAV series will span two DVDs. The third disc will contain supplemental bonus material.
