Anime on DVD spoke with Media Blasters in the dealers’ room of Otakon. They [Media Blasters] are very pleased with how their DVD sales are going. It looks like during December and January they’ll be doing DVD-only releases of older back catalog titles on compilation discs.

Mahou Tsukai Tai, an amusing six episode OAV series and following 13 episode TV series about a contemporary high-school magic user’s club trying to save the world, will be released by possibly as early as March, on simultaneous VHS and DVD, a few months after the second season of Rayearth completes on VHS.
