Michie Tomizawa Announces Partial Retirement

Veteran voice actress Michie Tomizawa’s manager announced at this past weekend’s Tokyo Game Show that Tomizawa-san will retire from acting in video games on January 2nd, 2002, after she performs the role of Sumire Kanzaki one final time for the Sakura Taisen 4 SRPG. Her future plans for performing in anime productions has not yet been revealed.

Tomizawa has performed such memorable roles as Sailor Mars from Sailormoon, Linna Yamazaki of Bubblegum Crisis (OAV & TV), and Airi Komiyama of Those Who Hunt Elves.
