Go Fish Pictures has officially announced that Satoshi Kon’s exceptional dramatic anime film Millennium Actress will open in limited North American theatrical release in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston and Toronto on September 12th.

Dreamworks Pictures has also released extensive Millennium Actress production notes, and interview with director Satoshi Kon, and a transcript of a Q&A session with director Satoshi Kon and screenwriter Sadayuki Murai, available at the DVD Vision Japan site.
