Mint Hybrid Anime Film Announced

Performance art development comany NEGA Design Works has announced its development of a live-action/anime hybrid motion picture titled Mint. Shutaro Oku will direct the film’s live-action segments while Kazuchika Kise (Ghost in the Shell: Arise) will direct the anime sequences. The sci-fi film will revolve around two terminally-ill hospitalized children who develop a bond via the online social network called Mint. The film is in production now for a Japanese release next year.
