Moetan Episode Pulled from Japanese TV Broadcast

Moetan anime producer Nagatani Takayuki has announced that the scheduled sixth episode of the current Moetan anime television series will not air on Japanese television. Instead, this week’s episode will be replaced with an “episode 5.5” recap episode and episode 6 will become a DVD exclusive. Although barely over a month old, the Moetan anime has already caused controversy in Japan because of its emphasis on nudity and sexually suggestive content involving preadolescent girls.
