More Live Action Liar Game Announced

Weekly Young Jump Magazine has formally announced a second season and theatrical film continuation of the live action Liar Game television series. The initial TV series adaptation of Shinobu Kaitani’s psychological thriller manga aired in 2007. The cast of the first TV series will reprise their roles in the second TV series and movie.

Liar Game stars Nao Kanzaki, a chronically honest young woman who becomes unintentionally involved in a “liar game” which forces participants to trick other players. Winners are awarded while losers are burdened with large debts. Nao is forced to turn to skilled con-artist Shinichi Akiyama for help.
