Anime Expo California has announced a flurry of new guests of honor including Koji Masunari (director), Masashi Ishihama (character designer) and Hideyuki Kurata (creator, writer) of Read or Die, and the creator of City Hunter and Cat’s Eye, Hojo Tsukasa. Anime Expo New York has now opened online registration for the August convention. According to the AXNY flyer, the event will be limited to 10,000 attendees over the course of the three day event. However, from the perspective of an attendee, AXNY is the same thing as Big Apple Anime Fest, and Big Apple Anime Fest has not yet opened registration, nor has it suggested any limitation on the number of attendees accepted.
