New Anime Figures this Spring

Kidscreen is reporting that beginning this spring Bandai America will begin releasing action figures for several of its hit titles, including Cowboy Bebop, The Big O, Blue Sub No. 6, Escaflowne, “Pilot Candidate,” Outlaw Star, and Gundam Wing. Each package will retail for a tentative $14.99 and include one seven-inch and two four-and-a-half-inch figures.

Bandai, in association with Pioneer and Wal-Mart, will be launching a multi-million dollar Gundam Wing Interactive Tour this March through October. The traveling production, targeted at teen and young adult males, will will aim to build on Gundam’s cult following and profitability through model-making workshops and presentations on the history of Gundam and anime in general.
