New Anime Movies on the Way

A feature length One Piece movie will premier in Japanese theaters on March 3rd. The pirate adventure TV series One Piece, based on a best-selling manga, is currently a top rated anime TV series presently at around 60 episodes.

The official Gainax FLCL homepage (pronounced “Furi-Kuri”) features a cryptic message stating that trailers for the FLCL movie will begin to appear in early February. Since early February has come and gone and no news of a FLCL movie has been revealed, it remains to be seen if Gainax has dropped plans for a FLCL movie or if the movie will be a compilation of the 6 episode OAV series or an entirely new feature.
