New CPM DVD Announcements

Central Park Media has officially announced that their remastered DVD version of original La Blue Girl OAVs 1 & 2 and an “enhanced” DVD set of Slayers will debut on domestic DVD on July 11th.

The re-release of La Blue Girl will now include a bonus interview with creators Toshio Maeda and Rusher Ikeda, a preview of the La Blue Girl English translated manga, DVD-ROM features and more for $29.99

The official press release from CPM does not explain what exactly about the “Enchanced Slayers DVD set” is actually enchanced. Speculation is that this set corrects the audio flaws present in the original set. Price remains $129.99.
