New DVD News

Central Park Media has apparently now excluded themselves from any relationship to the upcoming Armored Trooper Votoms DVD release, sublicensed to DVD Ltd. The first 5 Votoms DVDs, most recently delayed until May 3rd have now been delayed again until May 29th. DVD volumes 6-13 are still scheduled for release on June 15th.

AnimEigo has updated their page to confirm that DVD versions of Urusei Yatsura TV boxed sets 2 & 3, Baoh, Vampire [Princess] Miyu and Oh! My Goddess are now in production, although no release dates have yet been announced.

Manga will release both episodes of the Masamune Shirow designed fantasy adventure Landlock on a single DVD on June 26. Blood: The Last Vampire will be released on dubbed VHS and as a single bilingual DVD on July 31st. There’s no word yet on what, if any, supplemental features will be included on the domestic Blood DVD, or if the transfer will be the Japanese theatrical version or the “digital master” version. Blood will be released on DVD in Japan in three different versions: a theatrical print version, a “digital master” version, and a special edition boxed set including both versions and an entire third DVD of supplemental material.
