New Gainax Anime Announced

Gainax Studios has announced that they at work on a new anime series for Japanese television called Mahoromatic, based on the manga from Comic GUM. The story revolves around a cute female battle android who retires from military service and becomes a housemaid. (Housemaid anime seems to be getting popular lately with the Nanako Kaitei Shinshyo, Steel Angel Kurumi, Hand Maid May, and Hanayoku Maid Tai all preceeding this new series.)
