New Gamecube Details

More concrete, detailed information on the Nintendo Gamecube has surfaced. The system will not ship with a modem at all, but will have a port allowing for a separate 56K or broadband (apparently only DSL or ISDN but not cable, yet) modem plug-in. It’s also been revealed that the initial Gamecube produced by Nintendo will not feature DVD player capability, but a version of the Gamecube to be produced by Matsushita (Pioneer) will support the DVD format.
