New Gundam

A new Gundam series called For the Barrel is currently in the works. The project, which will begin in the November issue of Newtype magazine, will premier as a serial novelization. For The Barrel, supervised by Gichi Ohtsuka, will retell the original Gundam one year war story with a totally new concept, giving a new look and new perspective to Yoshiyuki Tomino’s original creation. Although the story currently has some cel art character designs, there’s no word on whether or not the story will actually get an anime adaptation.
