New Gundam Games

Bandai will release SD Gundam Hero Daikessen (Giant Decisive Battle): Knight Vs Warrior for the Playstation today, with a retail price of 2800 yen. The Virtual-On style game features free-roaming combat and customizeable super deformed Gundam mecha wearing medieval European and feudal Japanese style armor.

Capcom’s Virtual-On style Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation Vs Zion, for arcades and the Dreamcast will feature 2 on 2 fighting and will include trademark Capcom combo attacks and special moves. The game has already premiered in Japanese arcades but a Dreamcast version has not been confirmed yet.

Gundam Battle Online will debut on the Dreamcast this spring for 6800 yen. The simulation/strategy game will be playable both on and off-line but will not support the Dreamcast broadband adaptor. The game places players in the position of commander of battleships and up to a dozen customizeable mobile suit pilots.
