New Madhouse Production to Premier at Cannes

Production IG has announced that its latest film, the 47 minute long “Summer Of Andalsia” will premier next month at the prestigous Cannes Film Festival in France, before its Japanese premier.

The film about professional bicycle racing, features character design, screenwriting and direction by Kosaka Kitaro, whose previous works include major contributions to Studio Ghibli titles including Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Whisper of the Heart, Nausicaa, and Laputa.

This film will be the first anime ever premiered at Cannes.
