New Naoko Takeuchi Manga Debuts

After several years in semi-retirement following the completion of the Sailormoon manga series, Naoko Takeuchi is back at work. The April cover dated issue of Nakayoshi Magazine includes the 44 page premier installment of Takeuchi’s new manga serial Love Witch. The debut chapter of this new magical girl series introduces 13 year old Ai Anjyu, her family and friends,and ends with Ai’s transformation into the “Love Witch.”

The current issue of Nakayoshi also includes regular monthly manga chapters of Musume Monogatari (based on the J-pop group Morning Musume), Tokyo Mew Mew, Ojamajo Doremi Dokkan, and over a dozen other manga series. Bonus free premium items with this month’s issue include a plastic Tokyo Mew Mew clear file, stickers, a “Milk Shake” eraser, and a metal Musume Monogatari pencil box.
