New Onimusha Announcements

Capcom has unveiled a wealth of detail about Onimusha 3. The game, set in 2004 Paris, will star Takeshi Kaneshiro returning as the model for Akechi Samanosuke and French actor Jean Reno as the model for Jacque Bran. Onimusha 3 will be directed by Takashi Yamazaki, the director of hit Japanese sci-fi movies Juvenile and Returner (which coincidentally also starred Takeshi Kaneshiro). Martial arts movie superstar Donnie Yen will work on the game as action director. The Magic Box hosts 3 pages worth of screenshots. Capcom also hosts a narrowband and broadband Windows Media preview video.

Capcom has also announced Onimusha Buraiden, an Onimusha battle action/fighting game that can support up to 4 players. Onimusha Buraiden is scheduled for Japanese release this November.
