New PaRappa Game and Anime Confirmed

Although an anime TV series based on the Playstation music & rhythm game PaRappa the Rapper was first announced early last year, Sony Computer Entertainment of Japan held a press conference last weekend to officially announce that the PaRappa anime TV series will debut in April, and a third PaRappa game will be coming to the Playstation 2. The first PaRappa game and its sequel, Um Jammer Lammy, were both released for the Playstation. Anime News Service expands on this news, revealing that the series will be directed by Sakurai Hiroaki, whose most recent credits include Akihabara Cyber Team and Di-Gi-Charat.
