New Petitions Online

Two new fan-organized petitions have appeared online, respectively seeking authentic, quality presentations of Evangelion DVD 1 and Digimon.

The uncut Digimon petition is an attempt to let Fox, or any and all other distributors know that there is a fan demand for a subtitled, uncut version of the two Digimon TV series. The version of Digimon available in America right now is heavily edited and altered for the American market.

The remastered Evangelion DVD 1 petition is an attempt to persuade AD Vision to re-press a new version of the first Evangelion TV series DVD that improves the poor picture quality of the existing disc, provides an accurate subtitled translation instead of a “dub-title,” and eliminates the digital editing overlays of Japanese writing in the existing volume 1 DVD.
