New Sunday CM Gekijou Spot Released

Shogakukan has released its 33rd Sunday CM original anime ad. The latest spot features original animation based on Jun Sakura’s high school comedy manga Yugami-kun ni wa Tomodachi ga Inai (“Yugami-kun Has No Friends”). Studio A-1 Pictures (The IDOLM@STER, Sword Art Online) animated the spot. Since the September 1999 premiere of the Sunday CM anime television commercial series, many of the titles featured in the ads have gone on to get anime TV series, but some, including Fantasista, Karakuri Circus, Wild Life, and Be Blues have not received full-length anime adaptations.
