New Tetsujin 28-gou TV Series Announced

Tetsujin 28-gou Gao!, the first new Tetsujin 28 anime in six years, will premiere on April 6 on the Fuji TV network. Unlike the previous Tetsujin 28 action anime series, this new series of five-minute shorts will focus on protagonist Shotaro Kaneda’s everyday life. Mitsuteru Yokoyama’s seminal 1956-66 manga was adapted into a 1960 live-action television series, anime television series in 1963, 1980, 1992, and 2004, a 2005 live-action movie, and a 2007 anime movie.
