New Tokyopop Anime Licenses

Tokyopop has revealed that they own the English language translation and distribution rights to the Kyuketsuki Miyu and Kaitou St. Tail TV series.

The 25 episode Vampire Miyu TV series from 1997/98 was directed by Toshihiro Hirano, who directed the original OAV series, and is, if anything, even darker and more gothic than the popular OAV series.

The 42 episode Mysterious Thief St. Tail TV series from 1995/96 is a cute and sweet shoujo story inspired by Robin Hood about a young girl named Meimi who transforms into the magical thief St. Tail to steal back stolen items and return them to their rightful owners.
