News on Anime DVD Bonuses

Evangelion voice actress Tiffany Grant has confirmed that the Manga Entertainment DVD release of the Evangelion movies will include “many interviews” including Grant and Gainax co-founder Hiroyuki Yamaga.

Bandai has announced that at least the first DVD volume of The Big O will include staff interviews and creator commentary. The final 2 DVD volumes of Escaflowne, due out on June 5th, will include staff interviews, “concert footage” possibly of Yoko Kanno and/or Maaya Sakamoto, original animation footage from the rare Escaflowne Playstation game and trailers for the Escaflowne movie.
