Next Kofuku no Kagaku Movie Anime Film Announced

The Kofuku no Kagaku ~ Institute for Research in Human Happiness religious organization’s latest anime film, Shinpi no Hou (The Mystical Laws), will premiere theatrically in Japan this October. Laws of Eternity director Isamu Imakake is directing the adaptation of the novel by Kofuku no Kagaku founder Ryuho Okawa. Five of Ryuho Okawa’s previous novels have been adapted into anime feature films, four of those films directly produced by Kofuku no Kagaku.

A live-action feature adaptation of Okawa’s novel Final Judgement will open theatrically in June.

Having watched two of the five Kofuku no Kagaku anime, I can confidently state that these flicks are pretty far out there.
