Nippon Connection 2010 Gearing Up

The tenth annual Nippon Connection film festival – the world’s largest Japanese cinema film festival – is scheduled for April 14-18 in Frankfurt, Germany. Among the more than 150 features and shorts scheduled to be screened are Production I.G & Transarts’ 2009 anime film Chocolate Underground, and live action features including Takeshi Miike’s Crows II, Toshiaki Toyoda’s The Blood of Rebirth, Miwa Nishikawa’s Dear Doctor, Tomorowo Taguchi’s Oh, My Buddha, Koji Yakusho’s Toad’s Oil, Isshin Inudou’s Zero Focus, and Michael Arias’ Heaven’s Door. The film festival’s complete program will be announced in early March.
