NISA Acquires Nekogami Yaoyorozu

NIS America has announced domestic home video release plans for the 2011 supernatural slice-of-life comedy television series Nekogami Yaoyorozu. The adaptation of FLIPFLOPs’ manga revolves around a lazy cat-goddess who lives in a suburban Japanese antique ceramics shop and frequently receives visits from other friendly gods. NISA will release the 12-episode TV series, one OVA episode, and seven bonus mini-specials in a double-disc subtitled Blu-ray collection on June 4 under the title “The Everyday Tales of a Cat God.”

Cute and mildly amusing show, although certainly not for everyone as it’s probably a bit too tedious for many viewers.
