Nisemonogatari TV Anime Announced

An official website and teaser trailer have launched announcing that SHAFT is developing a TV anime based on author NisiOisin’s light novel series Nisemonogatari. The story is a sequel to Bakemonogatari that stars Bakemonogatari protagonist Koyomi Araragi’s two sisters, Tsukihi and Karen. Akiyuki Shinbo & Akio Watanabe, who respectively directed and provided the character designs for the Bakemonogatari anime, will serve the same roles for the Nisemonogatari sequel. The TV anime will premiere in January.

This will be the fourth anime adaptation of novels by NisiOisin following Katanagatari, Bakemonogatari and its prequel Kizumonogatari.
