No Sakura Falling on American DVD
|Despite the June 30 DVD and Blu-ray release of the Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li movie being a special edition 2 disc DVD release and 3 disc Blu-ray, Twentieth Century Fox details for both releases appear to confirm that the anime bonus feature film double-billed with the Japanese theatrical screenings will not be included in the American home video release. In its place, apparently, will be Eagle One Media & Udon Entertainment’s “Street Fighter: Round One – Fight!” animated comic.
The Legend of Chun-Li movie was screened in Japanese theaters as a double feature with a short original anime film from Studio 4°C starring schoolgirl fighter Sakura Kasugano.

I’m just surprised it took this long to come out on DVD, since they usually get these bombs out on home video a lot sooner.
that stink ,already have Street Fighter: Round One – Fight! animated comic
Well, turn-around on this one is relatively quick. I’m much more surprised by its getting a double/triple disc special edition. I guess the thinking is that the supplemental features will hook a few extra sucke… consumers.
You know, I wanted to like this film. But I just can’t. It’s just too awful.
John: I hear you can at least like it in a “so bad, it’s good way”, unlike DB: E.
