Nobuhiro Watsuki to Work on Shinsengumi PS2 Game

Rurouni Kenshin creator Nobuhiro Watsuki will be providing the character designs for Red Entertainment’s upcoming Playstation 2 3D sword fighting action game Shinsengumi Gunrou-den.

While the Shinsengumi Gunrou-den game will star many of the historical characters that also appeared in Rurouni Kenshin, including Okita Soushi, Saitou Hajime, Kondou Isao, and Tsujikata Toshizou, their character designs will not resemble those used in Rurouni Kenshin.

Shinsengumi Gunrou-den will be released in Japan this December.
