Nobunaga Concerto Adaptations Announced

Ayumi Ishii’s historical manga Nobunaga Concerto will be adaptated into an anime TV series, a live-action TV series, and a subsequent live-action feature film. The award-winning manga premiered in 2009 and presently has 10 collected volumes. The manga stars a modern high school boy who time-slips back to the Sengoku Era and finds that he must become the country-unifying warlord Oda Nobunaga. The TV anime series will premiere in July. Shun Oguri will star in the live-action TV series that will premiere in October and lead into a feature film.
