Nukko to Get Anime Series

Nukko, the mascot charater of the SKE48 no Sekai Seifuku Joshi (World of SKE48’s Uniform-wearing Girls) television series, will get his own series of anime TV shorts beginning April 2. The Nukko character designed by Gokujyo manga creator Maya Miyazaki, appears in animated bumpers for the live-action SKE48 no Sekai Seifuku Joshi variety program that stars SKE48, the Nagoya-based spinoff of the AKB48 idol group. Takeshi Onaka (Ganbare!! Natto-san) is directing the Nukko anime at Kachidoki Studio.
