NY Times Covers BAAF

The New York Times has published a brief overview of last weekend’s Big Apple Anime Fest. The article seems kind to anime fans, but is not quite as favorable to the anime industry itself. The article seemingly makes exceptional effort to point out less savory aspects of anime fandom including ticket scalping for the Cowboy Bebop movie screening, the popularity of pornographic and gratituitously violent anime, and the poor box office results of anime films in America.
