Oneechanbara Movie Announced

Video game developer Tamsoft and publisher D3 have announced that an Oneechanbara live action feature film, based on Tamsoft’s popular series of Oneechanbara “sexy & violence” games, will open in Japanese theaters at the end of April.

The Oneechanbara action game series, which involves scantily clad girls using samurai swords to stave off a zombie infestation, has sold 300,000 units of its Playstation 2 and Xbox incarnations. Oneechanbara Revolution, for the Nintendo Wii, will go on sale on the 7th. The title “Oneechanbara” is a pun combination of “oneechan” (sister) and “chambara” (swordplay).
