Opening A Day
To refresh your memory or introduce you to an interesting opening animation sequence, I submit the nicely edited opening of the 2006 Himawari! TV series. The opening theme is “Taiyou no Kakera” performed by Ryoko Shiraishi.

I’m guessing this did not turn out to be the greatest anime to watch.
I wanted to see a show that adapts the bizarre world of Okama (the artist, http://www.google.com/search?um=1&hl=en&safe=off&tbm=isch&q=okamarble&oq=okamarble ) into animation, and Himawari was not it. Diebuster, which he also did design work for, did a better job in that respect.
