Opening A Day
To refresh your memory or introduce you to an interesting opening animation sequence, I submit the parody filled opening of the 2003 Di-Gi-Charat Nyo! TV series. The opening theme is “Heartbeat” performed by Prière.

Man, I didn’t even know this opening existed. When Animax aired this show in Latin America, they used the second opening in the first episodes, too. Maybe there was an issue with the song’s licensing. This seems to happen every time there are western songwriters involved.
By the way, the second opening sequence is pretty good, too, with even more pop culture references.
